Is there a warranty on reTyre?

Yes. We offer a 2 years warranty on our products against production failure.

Are taxes, VAT, import costs and duties included?

Yes, all taxes, VAT and/or duties are included in the shipping price.

When will you ship my order?

After your payment is verified, it may take up to 24 hours to process and ship your order. This does not include weekends or holidays. Purchases made after 11 am PT will not be shipped out until the next business day. If you order after 11 am PT on a Friday, your order will be shipped out on the following Monday.

What is the reTyre return policy?

We have a 30-day return policy, with certain conditions. Please check T&C page for more details.

Is anything wrong with my reTyre?

We design and manufacture premium tyre surfaces for your safety and pleasure. When you are riding on reTyre and suspect there is something wrong with the product, please contact us right away, we can assist in providing professional support in resolving your concerns.

Utilize customer support experience

There are many parameters influencing reTyre's optimum performance level. To assist you in understanding some of the most common failures we have produced a FAQ.There is however no substitute for direct contact with customer support, so feel free to contact us regarding any issue.

Warranty Coverage

All reTyres are covered by our warranty policy which is based on the Norwegian Consumer Procurement Act. You are thus covered by a minimum warranty period of two years starting from the day when you purchased the tire. If you buy your product through a distributor/retailer in a different country, you must obey to the corresponding law for that particular country. As your warranty is based on your sales contract at point of purchase you should first consult with the shop/dealer where you originally purchased your reTyre(s). We regularly inform and train our distributors as well as retail partners regarding potential failures and our warranty complaint handling processes. If your local dealer identifies a condition that is potentially subject to our manufacturer's warranty they will typically take up the case with us on your behalf. We will make all reasonable efforts to support your local dealer with a fast and fair decision on your warranty complaint. This warranty is void if the reTyre surface has been damaged by crash, impact, abuse outside of intended use, or non-adherence to manufacturer guidelines. Warranty does not apply if the reTyre surface has been modified. The warranty does not apply if the user has let the product stay on the bike, or left it outdoor, for an unnecessary period of time during the two years as it may increase the wear and tear of the product more than when used as intended. To the extent allowed by local law, except for the obligations specifically set forth in this warranty statement, in no event shall reTyre or its third party suppliers be liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

Law

The terms and conditions shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of Norway and we both irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Norway.

Severance

If any part of the terms and conditions shall be deemed unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from the terms and conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of the terms and conditions.

Terms and Conditions Statement

By placing an order online you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out within the website. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions then you may not order any products from this site.

Limitation of remedy

Replacement of the reTyre surface is the sole and exclusive remedy in the event of breach of any warranty or of any agreement relating to the tyre.

Limitation of liability  

In no event shall reTyre be liable for any incidental, indirect, special or consequential damages or liabilities (including but not limited to incidental or consequential damages for loss of time, inconvenience, loss of use of bicycle, or any other consequential or incidental loss) in connection with the purchase, use, or operation of the tire, whether due to a breach of warranty, breach of contract, or otherwise.  

We accept a return within 30 days of purchase on items in new and unused condition, with following conditions:

  • Customer pays for the return freight. 
  • Return is only valid for unused product with packaging intact. 
  • Return shipping cost is deducted from the refund amount and the refund is paid out only after we receive and inspect the returned product.
  • Fee of  20 NOK/2 USD/2 EUR will be charged if the packaging is not intact.
